Connected to the Webtech Locator Series, the Temperature Monitoring Kit relays accurate temperature readings of up to three zones of refrigerated vehicles to Quadrant, so dispatchers can view all fluctuations above and below configurable thresholds. It also provides real-time alert notifications of fluctuations outside of allowable ranges.
The Temperature Monitoring Kit is a hardware accessory which enables service providers in the food, distribution, or transport industries to track and monitor the location, status and temperature of perishable cargo. Up to three sensors may be used to monitor different areas of the trailer. It allows us to configure a reporting interval for all zones and set individual zone temperature set points, high and low temperature thresholds, and alarm delay time. All notification and alerts are based on configured parameters.
The Temperature Report provides both a tabular and graphical representation of temperature changes in the refrigerated trailer or van. The ambient temperature in each zone, as well as readings exceeding the preset thresholds, is included in both the color graph and table. This report is available in PDF, MSExcel, MSWord, RTF, or CSV formats.
Report features include:
- Temperature readings in metric (Celsius) or imperial (Fahrenheit)
- The address where the refrigerated van or trailer is located
- An average probe temperature across all zones (or the average for one zone)
- In vehicles with multiple temperature zones, the tabular data averages the high and low thresholds over the three zones and compares this result to the average ambient temperature reached
